Mandate and context
To develop a collective action plan to better address the concerns of Montreal North’s seniors population, community, institutional and private partners, in collaboration with Volume10, organized the Rendez-vous des aînés de Montréal-Nord.
Implementation and solutions
Volume10 was responsible for coordinating the organization, the logistics and the animation, as well as content development. Main tasks included coordination between all stakeholders and the 23-member steering committee from 9 different organizations, registration management for 200 participants, organization of an panel of experts and facilitation of round-table discussions on issues and solutions for seniors in Montréal-Nord.
Impact and outcomes
The event enabled 200 participants to take an active part in shaping the content of the upcoming collective action plan for seniors in Montréal-Nord. The event was also attended by spokesperson Louise Deschâtelets and several elected officials, councillors and directors from the borough, including Chantal Rossi, Abdelhaq Sari and Tonia Di Guglielmo.
